We are living in a science-based society while our future will continue to rely on the outcomes of science. Unfortunately, most of our students in Bangladesh think that government jobs including BCS are the best for their careers. To get a government job, they spend years while only a small fraction of the students get succeeded. As a result, millions of our graduates remain unemployed. On the flip side of this scenario, a large amount of our foreign currency is just outflowed by only a few thousand skilled foreign workers suggesting that we need skilled hands. Moreover, there are a lot of scopes for employment for skilled people. Many of the developing countries including India, Pakistan, and Nepal are harvesting these benefits. Given that Bangladesh has a large young population, it can potentially explore these opportunities too. Research and Skill Development Society, a voluntary organization, is helping and inspiring people to grow a science-based career. It is my privilege to be part of this society and would like to contribute at my level best.
