For any knowledge-based society, research is formalized curiosity, poking and prying with a purpose built upon the basic principles – survive and thrive, publish or perish. In the 21st century challenged by unprecedented technological advancement coupled with uncompromised competitiveness, academics need to explore novel concepts and contexts in diverse perspectives involving analysis, observation, exploration, experimentation, and interpretation that require critical thinking skills which allow a scholar to translate the scientific method into practice, for theory and practice go hand in hand – without theory practice is blind, and without practice theory is empty. The wheel of science is built upon quality research that not only sparks new ideas and unexplored facts, but also leaves scopes for further exploration for the inquisitive minds that never take pride in finding solutions but creating future opportunities for others. Research and Skill Development Society is working towards this end shaping many minds. I wish all the success for its future development
